Our Return and Refund Policy
At Desilane, your satisfaction is our priority. If your purchase doesn’t meet your expectations, we’re here to help. For returns, exchanges, or cancellations, please review our policy for a seamless experience.
Returns & Exchanges:
- Initiate a return or exchange within 48 hours of receiving your product.
- For damaged, incorrect, or incomplete orders, contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item, along with your Order ID and an image or video of the defect on our whatsapp number 7417245082 or email us at desilaneindia@gmail.com.
- Once your return or exchange request is approved, we will arrange for the product to be picked up within 5-7 days.
- After we receive the product at our warehouse (which typically takes 7-10 days), a quality check will be conducted by our team.
- Upon successful quality check, we will initiate a refund via your original payment method within approximately 7 days of receiving the product at our warehouse.
- Reverse pickup is available for limited pin codes. If reverse pickup is not available in your area, you will need to self-ship the product. A credit note of upto INR 200 will be provided for reverse shipping costs.
- Exchange is allowed only once. For a second exchange, customers bear Rs 250 for forward & reverse charges.
Note: Returns/ Exchanges are processed post-quality checks.
- Please note that no return applies to sale products, Item(s) bought on sale will only be exchanged (not refunded) for size. If an exchange is not possible at our end, a redemption voucher shall be issued of the value of exchange. The redemption voucher can be redeemed for a fresh online purchase, within one year from the date of issuance.
Eligibility:
- Items must be unused, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached. Items without original tags will not be accepted.
- Return or exchange requests must be made within 48 hours of receiving the product.
- Exchanges are only possible for products of equal or higher value; products of lesser value will not be accepted.
- If we are unable to replace a damaged or defective product, a refund will be issued.
Refunds:
- Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you of the approval status.
- Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method within 7-10 business days or a credit note of the same value will be provided which will be valid for 1 year from the date of issuance.
- Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.
Exceptions
- Products damaged during use are not eligible for a refund or replacement.
- If we can't replace a damaged or defective product, a refund will be issued.
Note: Our products are genuinely handcrafted, which means slight variations in motifs, texture, and color are inherent to their unique character. Unlike mass-produced items that use chemical dyes and digital printing, our handcrafted creations are made in small batches. As a result, minor differences in color, shade, or motif may occur between batches due to the artisanal process involved.
However, if you encounter a genuine quality or manufacturing defect, we are happy to offer a full refund or replace your order.
